Pulled an all-nighter with the help of 2 cans of Redbull to meet the deadline to submit our project (Corp. Design with ma good bud) for the preliminary examination into the main studies (4th semester). I was animating our image-film to the last second till 1:30pm and left home like a bum without washing myself and with a scrubby beard.
Finally, it's done! It's almost over! One presentation and one oral exam to go, but then it's done for good. Holidays, here I come. Basic studies adé~ and hello~ main studies. Can't wait to get the illustration course next semester. Now I'm gonna get some more sleep (_ _)

over and out

p.s.
on my way home while driving, the Redbull buff wore off and my eyes started twitching. I almost fell asleep twice, meaning almost 2 accidents lul... (-_-"a)

Well well, a new 'fusion anime' is on its way by Studio Gonzo and the executive/co-director of the Linkin Park MV 'Breakin' the Habit' and 'Afro Samurai', Eric Calderon.
This time around it's called 'The Five Killers' consisting of 12 episodes with a 1 hour finale.

As you can see, the plot's gonna be most likely mediocre to the max (i.e. their codename), BUT that's fine with me because of it's superb eyecandy that's gonna compensate for its lack. By the trailer, i can tell it got style, nice fluid animation and z0mg they used one of my favourite OST track from the movie Collateral. I'm expecting something, don't fail me Studio Gonzo~!

I'm addicted to watching anime once again.
- Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (mecha by gainax)
- Lucky Star (everyday story)
- Dennou Coil (reality meets cyberspace, very nice artistic style imo)
- Ookiku Furikabutte (highschool baseball)

and a friend recommended Gintama. Only watched the first episode, but lulz comedy.
Anywho, my fav. chara in Lucky Star is the anime manager since his first appearance in the series [link] . Just my type of character XD

Moving on to Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Episode 16 audio rip.
Episode 16 was only a recap, but contained all main OST tracks of the series plus additional if I'm not mistaken. Couldn't wait for the OST, so i just recorded it myself.
here you go [link]
consists of 7 files and i didn't record 2 tracks. The encounter with Adiane track and Nia's track. No OP/ED aswell. Those are made up titles and just named it fitting to the scene it's played to. Of course, the vocal script is on top of the tracks since i recorded it from the anime, but it gives a nice touch fitting to the tracks' mood. Easily described as the following: will, hope, loss, fight, grand finale~. I'd say those are the keywords for these tracks.

ps. my fav. is GrowGrow FightThePower~Kamina
+ there are few msn sounds, forgot to turn off msn while recording lol....

Short and bold, I made it into the FAKD/frankfurt academy for communication and design.
Just got a call and have to sign the contract in the next following days. First, I was like wtf who's calling, I just slept for 4 hours. The Secretary was talking like a recorded voice message aka Transformers, roll out!.
I'm really relieved since i pulled off my portfolio in 2-3 weeks and up to the last day lulz. I was kinda confident, but a lil bit of doubt was still there. I'm a 2 years veteran bummer... now back to rookie time~!
I gotta work my ass off or I'll neck chop myself -0-

The Pursuit of Happyness

  • Playing: Silent Hill 4
I've just watched the movie 'The Pursuit of Happyness' starring Will Smith as Chris Gardner. I wanted to watch it on release last year, but missed it. Luckily my mum rented it and I gotta say, this movie is one of the most inspiring movies i've ever seen in a long time. The pictures, the music, everything fits in it. The OST consists of very soothing and fast paced classic songs by Andrea Guerra. There is a lot of different running sequences by Will Smith and when I just turn on the right OST, the running sequences flash in my mind. I'm addicted to the motion running in general, it's very appealing to me with the right music. But the movie portraits THE american dream -getting from the bottom to the top and the italian director, Gabriele Muccino did a really nice job at it. There are clear messages given depending on the circumstances of the characters, but the main message is clearly said - 'Chase your dream, no matter what the others say. Period.'
Also, the movie shows a very strong father-son relationship through up and downs.
In the last scene, there is an ironical moment which is a very nice idea. The majority of those who watched this movie in the cinema, mostlikely didn't notice - neither did I, until I watched all the features on the DVD -but no spoilers from me.
Anyway, I wasn't even bored for a second in the entire movie and can only recommend it.

The movie really gives hope and my creativity is bursting from my head right now.
I really feel like doing whole series of pictures related to the movie.
Thinking of buying the DVD... my first DVD lulz
